Our Merced County USBC Association is bringing back the popular King & Queens tournament that was promoted by Marty Danel at Castle Lanes for years. This weekend, Feb. 10 & 11 with a squad time of 11 a.m. with two divisions for men and women. You roll four games of qualifying and 1 out of 5 will qualify for the Sunday finals. Sunday finalist will automatically cash. On Sunday, you will roll 4 more games of qualifying to determine the four person stepladder finals. Winners from the King & Queen divisions will bowl 1 game of the Battle of the Sexes. The tourney is open to all USBC members. You will be using your 2016-2017 book average or January 1st whichever is higher. All USBC Rules and regulations shall govern this tournament. Entry fee if $60 per bowler for all events and will close on Friday 2/9/18.

Walk-ins will be welcome with an entry fee on tournament day of $65. Entries close 30 minutes prior to start time of 11 a.m. This tournament is certified by USBC. Entry forms are now at Bellevue Bowl’s display case in the lobby.

THERE IS STILL TIME:  You can enter the BVL Friendship Doubles Fundraiser at Yosemite Lanes this coming weekend. The Modesto USBC will be hosting a BVL fundraiser on Friday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m. and on Sunday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m. The teams will consist of two bowlers of any combination of men or women. You will be bowling three games of no-tap, first two games will be 8-pin no-tap and the last game will be a 9-pin. You will be using your 2017 book average, if none, then your summer 2017. Entry fee if $20 per bowler, side pots are $3 with separate divisions for men and women. Entry forms are available at Bellevue Bowl. The tournament will payout within 30 days. All USBC rules apply.

NO-TAP:  Up next for no-tappers is the 9-pin no-tap at Yosemite Lanes on Friday, Feb. 16. at 1 p.m. Entry fee is only $13 which includes your high game pots for men and women.

SILVER FOXES BOWLING CLUB:  Valley senior members of the Silver Foxes Bowling Club will be heading to Hanford this Saturday for the clubs monthly singles event. This senior bowling club will be checking in at 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. First ball rolling for the club will be at noon at Kings County Bowl in Hanford.
